I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 45, after line 14, insert the following: SEC. 127. HISPANIC OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM IN EDUCATION AND SCIENCE. Not later than 120 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Director of the National Science Foundation shall establish the program described in section 7033 of the America COMPETES Act (42 U.S.C. 1862o-12) for Hispanic- serving institutions (as defined in section 502 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1101a)). The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 271, the gentleman from New York (Mr. Crowley) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from New York.
