I would remind everyone that the equal rights amendment simply says: Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied on account of sex. If people on the other side want to admit that equality of rights under the law means there must be a constitutional right to abortion, well, that is wonderful. Of course, the constitutional right to abortion is already established under current law. Madam Speaker, I yield 1 minute to the gentlewoman from Washington (Ms. Jayapal).
