The union representing Correction Officers stated they warned Kathy Hochul before their strike that prisons were a dangerous powder keg, a strike was imminent, and that lives of officers were at risk. Hochul did nothing.

It has decayed. And we’ve watched the city of New York and the state of New York decay under single-party Democrat rule.

My sense is our party is fully united behind firing Kathy Hochul.
