I simply cannot understand why a State would choose not to provide health care coverage to its neediest citizens.

I hope the upcoming regulations will not punish these States, these States who did the right thing by expanding Medicaid eligibility.

I want to make sure that we were not penalized.

I made sure when we were crafting the Affordable Care Act that my State, New York, which is a so-called do-gooder State was not penalized for it.

We must also bury power lines.

A similar effort must be made for those impacted by Sandy.

We are likely to experience more storms of Sandy's magnitude, and we are not ready--sadly, we are not ready.

We must provide much more recovery funding to the region.

I have enjoyed my visits to Argentina and continue to believe that it is a natural friend of the United States.

I particularly was galled at Prime Minister Erdogan's calling Israel a terrorist state given Turkey's need to respond to the PKK.

And obviously what is happening at the U.N. today is just a shame because rather than enhancing peace I think it really sets it back.

And being a Jewish State doesn't mean that only Jewish people can live in that state. It means that it is the homeland of the Jewish people.

It is preposterous that the Palestinians make every kind of demand on Israel as a precondition for even sitting down and talking.

I am for a two-state solution. The way they are going, to ever get peace in the Middle East is for both sides to sit down and negotiate across the table with no preconditions.

And I would remind the Palestinians that when that happened Israel accepted the partition and declared their state.

We have a vital interest in ensuring that any reconciliation in which Hamas becomes part of the PLO does not happen.

It is extremely important that the conflict in Gaza ended with the United States as supportive of Israel as when the conflict began.

We care a great deal about Israel, the only real democracy.

Let us cut off all aid to all of these countries right now. Let us just stop it, rid ourselves of this problem.

What we are doing now isn't, in my opinion, right. It is not really a form of engagement.

I think that trouble that we are facing is really underscored with this war with Hamas in Gaza.
