I was not interested in yielding to ask the gentleman a question but merely to clarify that the gentleman is adept at putting words in people's mouths. I did not say that I was going to blue-slip it. At no time did I say I was going to blue-slip it. The determination was whether or not it was blue-slippable, and those are two entirely different things, in an attempt to create an appearance that we were slowing the process down. All I wanted to do was make sure that constitutionally and institutionally we did it correctly. I would assume that would be in the interest of all Members of the House, in fact, anyone who raised their hands and swore to uphold the Constitution. I thank the gentleman for yielding the time.
