The right to vote is the cornerstone of our democracy.

Well, I think that's a very good question because, normally, our criminal justice policies are aimed at reducing crime, right? Deterring, say, criminal activity.

I believe that without a sincere answer or solution from the government, the people won't be backing down.

That suggestion is fundamentally incompatible with the basic promise of equal justice under the law.
