I rise in strong support of Congresswoman Carol Miller's H.R. 7980, the End Chinese Dominance of Electric Vehicles in America Act, which I was pleased to support when it passed out of the Ways and Means Committee this April. The Treasury's lenient regulations enable individuals and companies with indirect ties to the Chinese Communist Party to access our taxpayer-funded subsidies meant for American innovation and jobs in American businesses. This bill, Carol Miller's bill, closes two critical loopholes.
