There’s been so much lying, obfuscation, cover-ups — the American people need to see everything that’s in the Epstein file.

This is awful and the assassination of Charlie Kirk risks an uncorking of political chaos and violence that we cannot risk in America.

This is a time that all Americans should come together and feel and mourn what happened. Violence, which affects so many different people, so many different political persuasions, is an affliction of America.

There has been so many lies, so much prevarication, so much cover-up. The American people, Democrats, independents, Republicans are demanding it be made public, and it should be.

Look, the bottom line is the American people need to see this. Donald Trump has lied about this.

If Republicans think Democrats are going to show up at the last minute to bail them out with the clock approaching zero, that would be a big mistake on their part.

This would be a nightmare scenario for the American people.

What the Republicans have proposed is not good enough to meet the needs of the American people and not good enough to get our votes.

It’s got to be bipartisan. And second, we have focused for the last month and a half on how there’s lots of bad things in what the Trump administration has done.

Sen. Thune was very involved. He seemed very willing to come up with an agreement, and then, at the last minute, of course, Donald Trump said, literally, to me, ‘Go to hell.’ And the talks fell apart.

If Republicans go nuclear, the historically bad nominees we’ve seen so far under Donald Trump will get only worse.

We know about their 191 consecutive days in combat, from the trenches of France to the banks of the Reine.

Senate Republicans must decide: stand up for the legislative branch or enable Trump’s slide toward authoritarianism.

However, as we near the funding deadline, Republicans are once again threatening to go-at-it-alone – heading our country towards a shutdown.

The only way to avoid a shutdown is to work in a bipartisan way, with a bill that can get both Republican and Democratic votes in the Senate.

Three times this year, Senate Democrats tried to extend the ACA tax credits to keep coverage affordable, and three times Republicans said no. Democrats won’t stop fighting to lower costs and protect families’ care.

Historically bad nominees deserve a historic level of scrutiny by Senate Democrats.
