let me say this, that as long as the gentleman and I have served in this House of Representatives, I am confident that we will treasure this jurisdiction of the Committee on Ways and Means and try to protect it the best we can, no matter which party is in charge of this House. But I would hope that any Member of this House serving on any committee that has any interest in legislation in his or her jurisdiction would never have to appeal to the other body to be heard. I thank the gentleman for yielding.
