as my colleagues know, it is one thing to say they are going to put it in the reserve and reduce the Federal debt, and that is good. But I think what we are trying to do here is to get some type of commitment in saying that if we can delay how we are going to handle taxes until after we come together on Social Security and Medicare, that we will be working more closely together. The gentleman may want 100 percent of it to go in investments, private investments, but at least come up with something that we can say that we tried to do Social Security, we tried to do Medicare, and I think that would be better than just saying that we are putting it in reserve.
