“Now, the gentleman knows also that in order to get a bill passed, it really helps if you get the cooperation of the President of the United States. I would like to submit a statement for the Record from the administration which says that if this bill was to reach him that he would be forced to follow the advice of his administration specialists and veto it. On the other hand, I think it is abundantly clear that the Speaker knows that the President has reached out to him and to the Senate to come together to create jobs. Statement of Administration Policy H.R. 4--Jobs for America Act (Rep.
