Even with falling home prices, rising foreclosures, job losses, and no economic growth, we have an administration that refuses, in a Hoover-like way, to take off its ideological handcuffs and help the economy.

These numbers hopefully will be a wake-up call to the Administration, a wake-up call to stop its Hoover-like trance of doing nothing.

We live in an era that has been defined by the increasing globalization of capital markets.

Globalization will only continue to accelerate, making the need for this greater than ever before.

The attorney general took an oath to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Instead, he tells the half-truth, the partial truth, and everything but the truth.

It's now up to the president. Is he going to cooperate with an investigation that has really rocked the Justice Department, brought out facts that we have never seen before, or are they going to continue to stonewall?

It is clear that the time has come for the attorney general to step down.

The credibility of the attorney general on this issue has been more or less shattered by what happened -- what happened in that hearing room.

Let them show their good faith by saying, we're willing to do transcript and oath, even if it's in private.

Mr. President, what if the objection to having a transcript? If there's nothing to hide, nothing wrong with the transcript. What is the objection to an oath?

The new e-mails show conclusively that Karl Rove was in the middle of the mess from the beginning. It is now imperative that they testify before Congress and give all of the details of his involvement.

Karl Rove should not wait for a subpoena.

Today's staff resignation does not take heat off the attorney general. In fact, it raises the temperature. Kyle Sampson will not become the next Scooter Libby, the next fall guy.

The rubber stamp days are over. The days of no debate are over.

Perhaps we can make them deductible.

We should do all other things.

The Committee is going to request that you do so, and you can get us an answer, either with numbers or saying you can't do it, until you have the following data.

But my general question is rather than say...
