I am deeply disappointed in your efforts to delay this potentially lifesaving rule.

I do not think it is justified, and I think one of the things the agency has to do is consider risk.

If we inspire cooperation, rather than hostility, we will see quicker introduction of safer designs, as well as timely removal of defective products.

The United States Government cannot, and should not, try to create a zero risk society.
