It is imperative that we get the CIRCIA rule right. CIRCIA should serve as the standard, not another regulation standing in the way of effective cyber defense.

Instead of following the lead of the Appropriations Committee in cutting back support for the development of the cyber workforce, we must continue to look for innovative ways to bring more people into the talent pipeline.
I appreciate that. In your testimony you mentioned public-private partnerships as potential incentives to push individuals, educators, employers, and other stakeholders to help strengthen the cybersecurity talent pipeline.
I would think that copycatting and herd behavior would be consistent with both, and I don't think it is a very large position under the new 10B-1 proposal that is being considered.
It is clear that the shortage of talent and burnout are issues that both the public and private sector face.
