I think I'd like to just say that I'm very proud that this entire subcommittee, both sides, bipartisanly voted against those cuts in the appropriations bill.

I would think that copycatting and herd behavior would be consistent with both, and I don't think it is a very large position under the new 10B-1 proposal that is being considered.

I reject the premise that small to mid-sized banks are somehow a problem in our economy.

The problem was, these banks were putting polar bears and penguins above their fiscal responsibility.
