All of a sudden, this bill that had almost unanimous support fell apart in a matter of hours.

While Republicans try to gut Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security to pay for tax cuts for billionaires, people across the country are standing up against these attacks on the working class.

[Musk] is trying to gut everything good in America for his own private profit. This is the culmination of what oligarchy is all about…the fusion and the capture of the billionaire class of our democracy.

Every day our job is to wake up and say ‘what can I do today?’ There is no act too small. Every action matters.

We have to not only build out that agenda but also communicate it better with our communities.

There is absolutely backlash occurring to the Trump administration’s actions.

Elon Musk is not going after efficiency. He is not going after making these things better for people. He’s trying to steal Medicaid so that he can enrich himself.

There is a difference between a party benefitting from Trump backlash and a party that earns enduring support through a proactive agenda.

This is why you fight these cowards. The moment you stand up to them, they crumble.

We have an obligation to resist kings. We have an obligation to resist oligarchs.

Ultimately, Latinos are a deeply working-class constituency that wants to see Democrats committed to fulfilling their promise for real, long-awaited paths to citizenship.
