Adriano Espaillat is a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing New York's 13th congressional district since January 3, 2017. He is a member of the Democratic Party and is notable for being the first Dominican-American to serve in the U.S. Congress. Espaillat has focused on various issues including immigration reform, affordable housing, and healthcare access during his tenure.
