With school districts facing budget pressures that threatened dedicated teachers, staff, and student learning, we needed to take immediate action.

“Nevada’s public lands are an important part of our state’s identity, our economy, and our quality of life,” said Governor Joe Lombardo.

“Over the last several years, we’ve made it a priority to modernize state government, strengthen accountability, and ensure Nevada is keeping pace with the technology needs of our growing state,”

This is a more than $30 million state investment — and it came in under budget. When we spend taxpayer dollars, we have a responsibility to get results.
