Over the last month, thousands of Washoe County residents have faced the uncertainty of evacuation, displacement, and, for some, the loss of their homes.

He dedicated his life to protecting others, and his loss is felt deeply by all of us.

The men and women of the Nevada National Guard answered the call when their neighbors needed them most.

The state is fully engaged, and we are working alongside local authorities and first responders to deploy every available resource to protect lives, safeguard communities, and keep Nevadans out of harm’s way.
