I am grateful to the firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel, and community members working around the clock to keep Nevadans safe.

The men and women of the Nevada National Guard answered the call when their neighbors needed them most.

While the immediate threat from these fires has diminished, our work is far from over.

This isn’t about political posturing; this is a matter of survival for a community that represents about two-thirds of our state’s citizens and the lion’s share of its economy.
