Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until tomorrow morning at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 17; that following the prayer and the pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, and the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day; that following any leader remarks, the Senate proceed to executive session under the previous order; and that the Senate recess following the rollcall vote on confirmation of the Carney nomination until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings; finally, that at 2:15 p.m., the Senate begin consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar No. 42, S. 940, under the previous order.
