The viability of the economy in Nevada is dependent upon the volume of visitors to our state.

I want to thank my colleagues for holding this important hearing today which highlights an issue I fight for every day: JOBS.

Tourism is critically important for the state of Nevada, not just in southern Nevada but also Reno, Lake Tahoe and some of those areas.

It is my hope that we can continue our bipartisan efforts and push for new initiatives that spur growth in the tourism industry.
