As somebody who has fought for so many years just on education and awareness, recognizing that's the first step in prevention.

I don't want us to forget that there are ways to really address these issues both at the state and local level.

I'm curious, what can the Federal Government do to help bring attention to and address this issue?

I represent the State of Nevada, and we have implemented this law through regulations through the state.

This bill needs to stay in effect. The regulations are needed now more than ever as you cannot depend on the big banks to just be honest.

Please do not weaken the financial regulations that were meant to prevent a repeat of the financial collapse that led to the Great Recession. It will only hurt the middle class.
