We have two distinguished guests with us here in Washington that will testify tomorrow before the subcommittee. The first is kind of the leader of the people of the land grants. He is a leader of the land grant farmers. He has put many, many years into the program, bringing the people and the land grants together. His name is Roberto Mondragon, former lieutenant governor of the State of New Mexico. He is here to testify on behalf of la gente, the people, de norte, the people of the north, which is our congressional district. He has brought with him Robert Torres, who is the State historian. We will be receiving testimony tomorrow not only from myself as their representative but also testimony from the people of New Mexico that deal directly with this issue and the State historian.
