During his tenure, Bingaman played a significant role in shaping legislation related to renewable energy and was a strong advocate for the development of clean energy technologies. He served as the Chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, where he focused on issues such as energy efficiency and the promotion of alternative energy sources.
This is an absolute misrepresentation of a program that meets the needs of all sportsmen and sportswomen whether blue collar or white collar.
I strongly urge Congress to pass the Valles Caldera National Preserve Management Act.
We see S.3452 transferring responsibility for future management of the Valles Caldera to the National Park Service.
As a matter of fact, we have a management agreement called the Valles Caldera Protection Act which somewhat protects the cultural and the forest resources that we have.
Turning the Preserve over to the NPS will not demonstrate nor has it been shown, that the NPS is a superior alternative.
