Jeff Van Drew is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 2nd congressional district since January 3, 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he previously held positions in the New Jersey Senate and the New Jersey General Assembly. I believe that we have, but is this an avenue the Coast Guard has explored to help the high costs that are located by these bases?
Given the higher costs along the coast, it is evident, to me at least, that an increased CONUS COLA is something that would greatly benefit Coasties and servicemembers stationed in these areas.
