Do I have your commitment that the Department will continue to work with the State of New Hampshire?

I would like to go back to climate science, Mr. Administrator, because as you know NASA is the biggest funder of climate science.

NASA has the opportunity to capitalize on its missions to encourage students across the country, no matter where they live to pursue activities in STEM.

It is also important in terms of the competition where we are no longer the only actor there. We have to ensure that we continue to be competitive.

I am just, on a personal level, excited about the country being led by you as a NASA Administrator.

This represents $1.5 billion or 6.7 percent increase above the fiscal year 2021 level.

The funding will allow more students to contribute to NASA's mission with hands-on learning so they can join a diverse science and engineering workforce in the future.

We are very ready in New Hampshire to contribute across the board to the exciting science exploration and aeronautics included in NASA's $24.8 billion budget request.

We look forward to being a partner and an ally in advancing the cause of space for our country.

It is ridiculous that we can't control the temperature in the rooms, in this building, and throughout The Capitol.

I think it is the stepchild of energy use. It gets short shrift, and yet it is the cheapest, fastest way to deal with our energy needs.

I continue to hear from hospitals and nursing homes in New Hampshire that are running on tight budgets after significant financial losses due to the pandemic.

If they can do it, we ought to be able to do it, and we should make this a priority.

It will really be important to get back to some of those programs so that we can reach people, so that we can make progress.

I hope together, with what the States acquire through a settlement, and what we're able to do working with you, we can actually tackle this in a meaningful way.

I have legislation that would tie the plans and deductibles to the Gold plan rather than the Silver plan.

The decision by the previous administration to provide set-aside funding to help the hardest hit States was very helpful to us.

The visit that you held with our journalists in Kiev was not just a strong symbol of support to them

You have strong bipartisan support here in the Congress, and we want to do everything we can to support you and the opposition in Belarus.

We have a backlog in our immigration courts.

This is particularly salient for me, having just returned from Ukraine and Georgia.

I think it is very important that it continue.

I certainly hope so.

Can you tell me if the Department plans to continue this program and what the funding level will be?

This committee and the Senate just passed a resolution condemning that attack, which I hope sends an important message not just to the Taliban, but to the women of Afghanistan.
