Will the impact of sequestration be enough to prevent you from getting to the 50 percent savings goal by 2020?

I appreciate that, although the report suggested that there were some projects that had gone forward without sufficient notification to the appropriate committees in Congress.

I want to start with BRAC, which probably does not surprise any of you, but I want to talk about it in the context of what is happening overseas.

I want to follow up--we're going to do at least one more round. I have some additional questions.

I want to go now to one of the issues that I have been very concerned about and very appreciative of the lead that the DOD, and particularly all of our branches of the military have taken, around energy use.

I was struck, in your testimony, when you talk about canceling the majority of depot maintenance.

I want to go back to the European infrastructure question because there was one piece of it that I did not get to.

I certainly hope that the urgency about expediting it will be conveyed to DOD.

I guess my concern--and I am still not clear on how or whether you think it is appropriate to address it--is the oversight of the projects that are undertaken.
