I would like to second that recommendation, that we continue to look for ways to listen to the veterans.

I share the concern of many folks here that too many veterans are food-insecure.

Certainly no one is getting rich on the four-to-five-dollar-a-day average that SNAP pays for food assistance, and if anyone thinks that is an overly generous benefit, they should try living on it.

It is our job to be able to make sure that they are taken care of.
