November 11th is Veterans Day period. On behalf of the veterans of the U.S. Virgin Islands, who have fought in every one of this country's wars from the Revolutionary war forward, I support H. Res. 298, and commend our colleagues for introducing this resolution expressing the sense of the House, that this day would forever be set aside as the day we honor those who have so nobly served this country and all of us. That is as those from my district would have it. What a small concession from the country to those who have sacrificed and been willing to fight unto death--willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. But it is of great importance and significance to them. November 11th is Veterans Day, period. Let's not fix what ain't broke.
