Deb Fischer is a United States Senator from Nebraska, serving since 2013. A member of the Republican Party, she has focused on issues such as agriculture, trade, and child care during her time in office. Fischer has been an advocate for policies that support agricultural producers and has expressed concerns about trade deals that may negatively impact them. She has also emphasized the importance of balancing work and family needs, particularly in relation to child care options for families in Nebraska.
This is such an important project. It would be great to get it done on time to be able to celebrate our 250th anniversary with it.

After the Cold War we divested significant capacity in the Indo-Pacific and adopted a posture that assumed a more concentrated basing model.
Ultimately, we traded away the flexibility of having larger network of bases, and facilities, ports, and dry docks, and runways for cost savings and efficiencies.
I remain concerned that the Air Force has not adequately prioritized the FRSM funding to renovate the former STRATCOM Headquarters.
