I have asked several questions of the department, of HHS. I spoke and wrote to Secretary Burwell, and actually I am awaiting more answers, certainly more solid answers.

I do know that the 96-hour bill is a very bipartisan solution, with some 70 cosponsors, very bipartisan like I said.

I think we owe our providers a better policy than that out of Washington, D.C., that really entrusts our providers.

I especially want to thank my Representative, Congressman Smith, for introducing the important legislation.

There seems to be frustration, in terms of bureaucracy.

I will fight with determination against any and all attempts by the Federal Government to undermine the power of the states to protect employees within our borders and forced union affiliation.

This is an issue of precedence and State's rights. This is about the people I represent, who respect the right to organize and respect the right to decline.

The President's decision to not enforce certain immigration laws has only made this problem worse.

The problem of illegal immigration is nothing new, but, this year, the surge of tens of thousands of unaccompanied children... has further strained our communities' resources.

It is frustrating as a policymaker. It is frustrating as we do engage in how much money to spend--taxpayer dollars--to maintain the commitment that I think we can all agree we have to stand behind our veterans and their care.

I would humbly ask that you refrain from using many of these driving factors, seemingly driving factors in the decision because I just do not think it can be relevant.

Reducing services at Hot Springs will reduce services for our veterans who have already sacrificed so much.

I have since sent or signed onto seven additional letters regarding this proposal.

Congress must enact postal reform which provides certainty for consumers and businesses alike.

The Postal Service continues to face a severe fiscal crisis, losing $25 million per day.

The impact is going to be enormous into our valley.

I think it is a game changer.

EPA has ignored evidence that has been provided regarding the method's lack of credibility.

It is simply not possible to spend money on investments that don't increase the productivity of the economy and expect to get a net increase in the economy, or even a net zero.
