Creating a supportive workplace for people in recovery is more than just good policy for filling open jobs in state government – it’s also the right thing to do.

No matter what happens in the future of North Dakota’s budget, you could have $7 soybeans, you could have $12 oil, and this money comes off before anything else is spent.

In just a few months we’ve seen ground conditions shift from lush green to tinder dry across large portions of our state, and we need to be prepared for a potentially intense wildfire season this fall.

This is, quite frankly, too important to wait that long.
