I think we owe it just from a straight consumer protection standpoint. People should know that what they’re buying is what the package says it is.

While we preferred a total ban on kratom, we appreciate the Legislature convening in special session and working hard to pass a meaningful law that protects the well-being of our citizens.

I can’t imagine a scenario happening like this again as long as I’m governor.
