I expect the Senate to make some changes to the bill, meaning if it passes the Senate, the House would have to take it up again.

It was something I campaigned on. I would give us an ‘A’ on our work so far. We have basically shut the border down. Turns out, we didn’t need new laws.

I’m just grateful for the strong support from North Dakota Republicans statewide and really excited to continue working to earn the vote of even more North Dakotans in the general election in November.

September is a busy time in North Dakota, with students back in the classroom and farmers working long days to bring in the harvest.
