We appreciate Acting Regional Administrator Fox and her team being in North Dakota, as well as her ongoing efforts with us to advance $75 million in key infrastructure projects for the Bismarck area and communities across our state.

Through my position on the Defense Appropriations Committee, we’re working to fund this priority, along with our nuclear missions, which serve as our original deterrent.

We’ve now secured a total of $157 million for the initiative’s first phase, which will develop large-scale pilot projects to prove that it works and is commercially viable.

We ask a great deal from our law enforcement, which can often be a demanding and dangerous career. We appreciate everything they do to protect our communities. They have our gratitude, and they deserve our support.
