This proposed rule will help provide greater certainty for our ranchers, energy producers and other stakeholders while ensuring the grasslands can be responsibly managed for multiple use.

We’ve taken a comprehensive approach to flood protection in the Red River Valley, and our two-part plan is about fulfilling this promise for upstream farmers.

We also need to keep the South Bismarck Flood Control Project moving forward so construction can begin next year, providing better flood protection while minimizing the burden of flood insurance on residents.
