Not only have we secured MCOOL and better prairie dog management, which have been longstanding goals for our ranchers, but we continue to support our ag researchers as they develop the latest, greatest methods for improving the quality and health of our soil and rangelands.

We ask a great deal from our law enforcement, which can often be a demanding and dangerous career. We appreciate everything they do to protect our communities. They have our gratitude, and they deserve our support.
This legislation will extend that funding through December 11 to prevent a government shutdown.
In recent months, we’ve made tremendous headway on issues important to our state. Agriculture is a great example.
At the same time, we will continue working to find agreement to pass the full-year appropriations bills in a way that responsibly funds our priorities while reducing spending to help with the debt and deficit.
