“Mr. President, I would like to thank my distinguished colleague not only for his work on energy--he is already recognized as an energy leader in this body--but also most recently for student loans. He has taken a bipartisan lead on student loans that I believe has produced a great product, which I am pleased and proud to cosponsor, and on which I believe this body will come together next week and pass. I think if we pass it, the House will take it up and pass it right away. It is so important for students, so important for our students and their families.
