The American people saw beyond the Biden-Harris administration's false claims that the border was secure and last November gave a very clear and compelling mandate: Secure the border. Secure the border. Already, the new Republican Senate majority is taking a first step to protect the American people against the consequences of the Biden- Harris administration's policies by working to pass the Laken Riley Act. Under this bill, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will be required to detain illegal immigrants who have committed theft-related offenses and issue an immigration detainer request to local law enforcement for illegal aliens who have committed related crimes.…
