We’ve now secured a total of $157 million for the initiative’s first phase, which will develop large-scale pilot projects to prove that it works and is commercially viable.

We also need to keep the South Bismarck Flood Control Project moving forward so construction can begin next year, providing better flood protection while minimizing the burden of flood insurance on residents.

That’s why we have been prioritizing federal programs and policies that better empower law enforcement to keep our communities safe and bring offenders to justice.

Today’s meeting was also an opportunity to get input from our ranchers on important priorities we’ve included in the Farm Bill, including better prairie dog management and MCOOL, which we’ve been working to advance for years.
