Life is like a relay race. And we each run our part of the race as well as we can and then we pass the baton to the next person.

Life has a lot of surprises, but Sharon and I are people of faith. And we know that all we can do is respond to the challenges confronting us. We have done that. I'm proud of the campaign we've run. I think people see the contrast…

It's very hard for me to believe that all 15 of these women were lying. Frankly, hard for me to believe that any of them are lying.

If we don't unite as voters, then we are looking at the real prospect of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I weigh maybe 165 pounds on a good day. I'm ready to go to him toe-to-toe. But he seems to be the one on the run here.

I'm not going to take it anymore. And right here, right now, I challenge him to a debate. We have got to set the record straight.

I believe we have the momentum. And I believe we'll win the election on October 7th.

My attitude is let's just get it over with. Let's just have this election on October 7, put this recall behind us so we can get on with governing in the State of California.

But in this wild hatter's ride, the conventional wisdom has turned out to be in error almost every time. So nobody knows for sure.

this is actually going to help him. If this decision and this election is put off until March, this will give him more time to campaign and a better chance to reach those voters that are more inclined to vote for him.

I would like a result however, that allows as many Californians as possible to vote.

It's no joke that Arnold Schwarzenegger supported 187, which is perceived as anti-immigrant.

This admissions program says, 'Keep dreaming big dreams. Keep working hard. If you really excel, you will get a place at one of the eight UC campuses.'

about 800 or 900 of them will be people of color. There is no denying that 800 people of color will have a chance to come to the university that otherwise they would not have had.
