I just wanted to commend the gentleman from California, because many times people in my district tell me that they just cannot quite understand how we in Congress can forgive a $5 billion debt to Third World countries, how we can spend $10 billion in Bosnia, $12 billion, $14 billion in Yugoslavia, yet we cannot find the money to give tax relief to married people.
