I do not understand on behalf of the taxpayers and those in the military when we sit here at many hearings and we talk about we need more money to maintain platforms, to build new platforms, to rebuild our military that has worn out, where in the world did we not get to a point that we say enough is enough?

America is not ready to defend this country if we keep going down this path.
I believe sincerely that that is the biggest threat to our national security, is the growing debt.
If we don't level with the American people in this very unsafe world that we live in, if we want to win the war or protect Americans then we cannot continue to go into deficit situations.
Unfortunately we have to lose my son in this manner. Had this bill been in place I think it would protect young men as they were jogging down the street.
