Why is this operation in our vital national interests . . . understanding that credibility of the Commander in Chief is not a vital national interest, and neither are the pictures of dead and wounded citizens (we learned that lesson from Somalia), and neither are suspected gas stockpiles. If you believe this is in our vital national interest, please provide your definition of the term.
