“Free markets are more powerful than armies, and I think my colleague's quote from former President Ronald Reagan, and everything else that has been said tonight by my friend, is so true. The whole thing is that this is a critical issue to so many people throughout this country and we need to do what is right. The right thing to do is to look at the gentleman's bill, put this bill on the floor, let it be debated, let it pass or fail, but do not bottle this bill up. Too many people throughout this country need this relief.”
