Focus on prevention.

While I generally support the bills under consideration today by the Subcommittee aimed at improving Medicaid patient access to care, I very much believe there is a missing component in this discussion.

I was proud to work with my colleagues on that landmark initiative in order to reduce regulation, inspire innovation, improve outcomes for patients and move our country towards precision medicine.

Education is a critical first step, if we hope to prevent, identify, manage, and intervene on behalf of the struggling adolescent.
