The mission of the EPA is to protect public health and the environment, look at cost-effective technologies to do so, and ensure that this country can remain globally competitive.

We are saving lives, and we are putting pragmatic, practical regulations in place so that we can provide many of our industries regulatory certainty.

None of the groups that were presented there have received one dime from EPA.

Communities will be left behind if the government shuts down, but those communities that are already disproportionately impacted will be further left behind.
