It is vital for public health and for our economy. Our Nation's water infrastructure is crumbling, which will have an impact on our global competitiveness.

We run the risk of not seeing those celebrations if we have a shutdown. Simply put, the work just can't get done.

This is not what we should be having in this country.

Communities will be left behind if the government shuts down, but those communities that are already disproportionately impacted will be further left behind.
