This bill builds on House Bill 50’s progress to support law enforcement officers returning to work from retirement. Vacancies in law enforcement agencies have a real impact on public safety, and this benefit incentivizes experienced law enforcement officers to come back and serve their communities. I appreciate the legislature’s partnership in supporting law enforcement and keeping people safe.
